I have a question that has been puzzling me for quite some time now. Hopefully someone here, with more ASL experience than me, can shed some light on this issue.
Situation:
In System/ Up2date I have Pattern Up2Date enabled and set to update hourly.
I receive messages from the firewall every hour that new pattern files have been successfully installed.
Problem:
When I look at the attached file (Up2Date_Info.txt) in the mail notification it generally contains the same information.

New pattern files installed:
daily.avc
avp.klb
daily.txt
------------------------------------------------------------
Question:
Does the above mean that these files are being downloaded every hour and continually re-installed even though there has been no change in the pattern files?
