upgrade hardware and asl v5 to v6

Hi,
We're going to change our hardware PC and in he same time change our ASL v5 to v6. But we want to backup our logs and restore to the new hardware PC. How do i do that ? Thank to all who reading.

    You could simply export the v5 logfiles you currently have in the firewall if you need to keep them.
    I do not know a way to import these back into v6 but why would you want to? Maybe you could consider doing what I do.

    I have ASL configured for Remote Log File Archives as well as Local Log File Archives. This saves all of the daily logs into one file, named by date, to a share on one of my Windows servers. This is a very clean method as all of my logfiles are always accessible. This has proved very useful in the past when I have done hardware updates. I never lose my logfiles nor do I need to worry about losing any records of what has been happening on the firewall.
    Having Local Log File Archives enabled as well allows me to view the most recent logfiles from within WebAdmin. I have this set to delete after ten days which means I do not need to worry about HDD maintenance due to being filled with logfiles.

    Just a suggestion.
