Hi ,

Has anyone tried the following board with Astaro V6? http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/DualCore/E7230/PDSMi-LN4.cfm

It has Intel

82573V/L PCI-e Gigabit

The real concern would probably be the SATA controller... it says it has ICH7R... I don't know if that's supported in ASL yet.
Anyone?

Did a forum search and found that 6.103 has added support for ICH7R. But the latest ISO is 6.102. Does that mean it would successfully boot and detect the 4 NICs?

Hope someone can confirm before I order the unit.

Sorry, didn't realize that was a quad-port nic.
Some people were having trouble with some of the new Intel nics a month or 2 back:

You might have trouble installing to an SATA drive unless you can find a 6.103 ISO.
