From reading the HCL for V6 and scouring the posts here it appears that using RAID with Security Manager is an iffy, at best, prospect. I'm getting ready to purchase a new DL360 to replace the low end server we've been running on. I was going to spec a Smart Array 641 controller with 2 SCSI drives to ensure redundancy. Every Server I have runs at least RAID1 and most RAID5 and I don't want to skimp in this case. Has anyone used this config with success? Am I wasting money on a RAID controller that won't get used? TIA
