tmpfs part. mounted at /opt/tmpfs is filling up

I recently received the following warning:

tmpfs partition mounted at /opt/tmpfs is filling up - please check. Current usage: $USAGE

Issuing the following command:

asg-xxx:/home/login # du -sh /opt/tmpfs/*|egrep "(M|G)"

we can observe:

31M     /opt/tmpfs/backup.tmp
1.1M    /opt/tmpfs/pdk-root

How can we free space from this partition ?

Thanks in advance,

Alex

  • in /opt/tmpfs files getting stored e.g. which are getting downloaded via webadmin (logfiles, backup...) sometimes the download is bigger than the partition, so this issue occures.

to resolve this delete the backup.tmp file
