up2date not resolving hostnames

I have installed Astaro v. 6.001 and when I try to run the up2date service to download the latest patches this is what I receive:

000 System Up2Date: Started System Up2Date
001 Running Version: 6.001
002 Resolving hostnames for authentication failed

Can anyone give me insight to why this is happening?

You probably have not configured your DNS proxy with the DNS server numbers that your Internet provider gave you. Or perhaps your Internet connection to the outside world is not working.

I am able to make connections from my internal machines to the internet and I am able to ping from the astaro box. ... Is there a way to manually install the updates?

You can download the updates from the ftp server
ftp://ftp2.astaro.com/pub/Astaro_Security_Linux/v6.0/up2date
and load them up in webadmin
-> System -> Up2Date -> Import from File

To give everyone an update, it seems like there is a problem with rr.com's dns servers and being able to resolve up2date(1-3).fw-notify.net.. I pointed the DNS proxy to a different DNS and everything started working fine. Thank you for the responses and sorry about the question.
