hi there
i'm experiencing problems while setting up ASL V6. when booting with the standard boot option i get a "kernel panic - not syncing: fatal exception in interrupt" while hardware detection. on the other hand when choosing the classic boot option the hardware is detected well but i get a "kernel panic - not syncing: aiee, killing interrupt handler" while creating base environment.
by testting different settings (nics and bios) i noticed that i always get these errors. depending on the settings it's just the point in time when i get the error that changes.
what can i do about this? does anyone know anyhing that could help? i don't know much about unix and that's why i'm quite desperate.
system:
amd gigabyte motherboard 1800+
ide harddrive 40gb
3 different nics (realtek, d-link, asus)
thanks a lot in advance!
marco
