Dell and SATA Drives

I have a Dell 5150 which I would like to use with ASL v6.100 but when i run the install it doesn;t find the SATA drive. There is no option to use legacy mode in the BIOS of these. Does anyone know of any workaround or when more SATA support will be available?

You might need to do a search, but from memory it has to do with a specific SATA device rather than SATA not supported.
