Can not find https://www.192.168.2.100

ASL 6. Trouble with logging in to admin NIC for initial setup. Subnet 255.255.255.0, default ip, 192.168..2.100.

Installed version 5 with no problems and logged in from a laptop on my network. Installed 6 and I can not find this box on my network. Current Ip of this machine that is on the same switch 192.186.0.246. Thanks in advance for the thoughts.

Those don't look like they're on the same subnet, unless you made a typo.

Can you ping the 2.100 address?

Tried to ping no reply. Same subnet. I'm flexible if you think another ip address will work.

try https://192.168.2.100/ usually works. Why have you added www it is not part of your local addressing system. You are mixing url addressing with absolute addressing.

Are you doing https://www. then the IP address? Don't....

Just https://ip address

Looks like your subnets are out.

Sorry. Yes it was a typo. I am typing https://192.168.2.100. I've never used https://www... Posted this last night after hours of trying to login.

Subnet on both machines is 255.255.255.0

Both should be 192.168.0.X not 192.168.2.X and 192.168.0.X
either that or change the mask to 255.255.0.0

Both should be 192.168.0.X not 192.168.2.X and 192.168.0.X
either that or change the mask to 255.255.0.0

Issue resolved. I installed 6 on another machine and I was able to browse to it without any issue. Must be something wrong with the box I was using. Not sure what though since ASL5 worked fine. Hmmm. Thanks all for you help.
