Up2Date 5.207

On past experience with V5.x I had to down load by hand and then use webadmin to import, then upgrade. Something went wrong in one of the updates for V5 or maybe the server you are pointed at doesn't have it installed (later thought).

I am using the same up2date server as you do. The up2date downloads fine on my machine. Do you use an upstream proxy to download the up2date? Maybe a caching problem. Maybe the cache of the proxy is not up-to-date.
Otherwise, please goto console and execute 'aus --debug' to get some debug informations. Basically 'aus' does the same as the webadmin does during fetching an up2date.

I am seeing the same thing. Sometimes there is a little delay in updates hitting the servers, but this is the longest I've noticed. Debug doesn't give much additional info about the failure - everything is fine, the server just doesn't have any updates.

The update is available on the FTP site.

Hi,

I don't have an upstream proxy that I know of. The Antivirus updates are still comming down regularly. 1 installed today.

I tried using the "aus --debug" command that you recommended, but I got the same result. 

Is there another way to download and install the update?

Yes, go to  ftp://ftp.astaro.com/pub/Astaro_Security_Linux/v5.0/up2date/  and download the file 5.207.tar.gpg (the MD5 sig is in 5.207.tar.gpg.md5). 
In WebAdmin, go to System|Up2Date Service, go to "Import from File:", click Browse and select 5.207.tar.gpg from wherever you saved it on the local drive, click "Start".

Same problem happened to me. I was obliged to download the 5.206 to 5.207 update directly from ftp and to install it (successfully).
This problem never happened in previous updates.

At 1AM this morning (GMT -7), I finally received emails from our ASL boxes that 5.207 is available.

Must be that not all of the up2date servers had the update.
