Static IP Adress doesn't work

Hello, I've got trouble to set up the static ip adress for my Internet Service Provider. The DSL Interface won't go online when I make my changes. The provider is T-Com, can anybody help me?

    Are you using "T-DSL Business" with the static IP option ??
    Then don't forget you MUST set the interface to DHCP enabled although you're getting everytime the same IP !!!!!
    If you use static IP setting it won't work !!

    Hi,

    Do you mean that the ASTARO will not act well if it is connected to a private ip from the isp ?

    Hi Kknecht, yes I'm using T-Business. And I set it up according to the given manual. For the DSL Interface I'm using dhcp and I put the IP-Adress in the Username like this: IP-Adress/User-id@t-online-com.de but it still doesn't work......... :-(

    Hi Aldi,

    i think you done the same error as i did the first time: Don't think as IT guy while reading the T-Online manual, think as a user:
    Syntax for user name is NOT: IP-Adress/User-id@t-online-com.de
    It is in fact:  feste-ip/User-id@t-online-com.de
    Means you have to write "feste-ip"  and not the IP-adress himself    

    If it's still not working (but for 99,9% it WILL !!), try to connect a PC directly and check if the login works. (Maybe wrong password ??
