Domaincontroller crashed due to domain entry ASL

Hello,

did a very bad thing. I tried to join to my 2003 domain but gave the ASL the DC´s netbios name and crashed it therefore.

How can I repair my dc? Has anyone experiences with that topic?

Yes,

I named the ASL same as the DC!

Sure it´s a user problem, but ASL should never do that at all...

Do you have any idea how to fix it? Seems my computer account was overridden ..

If you have a backup, you can restore the ADS. If not, I see a lot of work on your site. :-(

an authoritative restore of AD pre-crash is in order... see Microsoft KB for details. Astaro does warn in their manual specifically not to use a DC name in that netbios name field.. easy enough to do though, I understand.
