Does ASL v6 support support ADSL USB modems?
Currently I have a cable WAN connection pugged directly into an ethernet interface which works fine. I was using a Draytek Vigor 2200 for the WAN connectivity which port-forwarded all the traffic to an interface on my Astaro box. I finally got around to removing the 2200 so I didn't have to modify anything on it when I wanted to make a change on the ASL box.
Shortly I will be switching over to ADSL and I don't want to have to go back to placing a router (I have a Draytek 2600v for this purpose if I need it) in between the Astaro box and the ADSL connection. I've tried to connect an old Alcatel USB modem into one of the USB ports but ASL doesn't see it.
Any suggestions?
