i recently ordered the fastpath option in addition to my 6mbit dsl connection. from that time on the pings were running really fast, but i was not able to get a stable pptp vpn connection through my astaro to connect to a remote astaro.
i checked the logs on my astaro and recognized a very high hardware usage from the moment, my provider activated fastpath.
my machine:
p450, 256MB, 20G HDD
resource usage before fastpath:
about 130MB mem, no swap, cpu 4%
resource usage with fastpath:
about 248MB mem, 30% swap, cpu 12%
(average load)
is there any way to get the things working? (without canceling fastpath)
