1's and 0's after reboot during install

I am a newbie trying to install astaro 5.2

After the inital part pf the install I reboot my pc as directed, but can never seem to log in to complete the config remotely. I can't reach it from other IP's in the same subnet. When I go back to the Astaro box, the moniotr is filed with "L 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 ..." It fills up about 1/2 the screen.

Any ideas please...

Please describe your firewall (Astaro) hardware setup in detail.
Then describe your network connections to the box.

Then we will see where we can go from there.
