Trouble booting into ASL 6.001

Hello Folks, I am new to Astaro. Installing ASL 6.001 installs fine. I remove the CD, connect the cable, and restart my computer. I then get L 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 (about 15 lines of it) and then it stops.

Any idea how to fix this? All of my other OS's install fine on this machine e.g. Windows, ClarkConnect 3.1 etc.

    Does anybody here know why I get L 99 99 99 99 99 etc when I go to reboot my system after a clean install of ASL 6.001?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    This is a error from the boot loader, LILO.

    Try changing your BIOS IDE LBA settings. Try each of the possible settings.
    I've had best luck with 'large' if 'LBA' doesn't work, but 'normal' works sometimes too.
    You might need to re-install after changing the settings if it still doesn't work.

    See if there is a BIOS update for your motherboard.

    Try a different size hard drive.

    Last resort: different motherboard.
