cold boot problem network card

yesterday i installed Astaro V6.002.
Everything worked fine, except one strange thing.
When i power off the machinene and power it back on, after completed boot and hearing the final beeps. the internal network card is not working.
but the start screen does not show any errors and ifconfig says the card is fine except that no pacekts go in.
But when i do a a warmreset after it with shutdown -r now everything works fine. so after every cold boot i have to make a warm boot to make the thing working.
i tried already switching of acpi in the bios and changed from no plug n play os to plug n play os in the bios but without success has anybody an idea and can help me please ?

sounds like your motherboard has a problem.  Either replace the mobo or put in another nic and turn off theinternal one.

hi thanksfor the tip but with internal i mean that it is the internal interface, not that the card is internal it is a 3com card with aui bnc and rj45 100mbit, but i tried to put the internal interface on another nic and now the problem seems to be solved i think astaro don't like this 3com card in the old V5 it worked fine.

which model 3com is it?

hmm to tell you exactly which model it is i have to shut down the firewall and open it because the card is still in the system but not connected to network now, because i have 4 NIC Interfaces in this System.
But i think it was a 3com 3c905b combo pci 100mbit
