CRC Error when installing 6.001

Hi all,
Hope someone may be able to help. New install of ver 6.001. 

Get an error of :
Uncompressing Linux
CRC Error
Terminating.

Using:

AMD Duron 1.3
256 MB DDR 2700 RAM
30 GB WD Drive
Generic CD Drive(Have Tried 4 different ones.)

Searched Google and came back with maybe bad CD...?
Re-burned CD at lower speed.

Same problem.
