installation of ASL 6.001 failed .

Hi everybody ,
the installation of ASL 6.001 (on P II 350MHz 256MB 10GB-HD machine) at step 7 of 7 during "install packages" step  fails,
why ???
I've tried a lot of times but always it hangs at that step,
it was the same with ASL 5.00x but at fourth time everything went well.
I'm waiting for any help, it should be very appreciate.

    System hangs, or is there an error message ?

    Maybe defective hardware (memory, etc), BIOS update necessary ?
    Did you change HD, memory for a test ??

    For V6 i would recommend you to put at least another 256MB in your system.
