restoring v4 backup in v5 impossible

Hi all,
I've a running ASL 4.108 and want to migrate to 5.204.
But the backup of 4.108 cannot be restored in 5.204.
Message:
"The backup file cannot be restored. Its version is 4.108. The minimum possible version is 4.021 and the maximum possible version is 5.249."
I think, 4.108 is a higher version as 4.021...???

Any idea?

    update your v4 version to the latest available via up2date then try it again..it'll work.

    there is no update available for 4.108.
    The newer versions are 4.0xx. May 4.1 was a beta track???

    Can I "downgrade" my rulebase to a 4.0xx?

    I don't know where 4.1 is from.  Are you sure it's 4.1?  Are you running the novell branded version?

    This version is downloaded from Astaro directly, no Novell branding.
    I think I to try to  import the backup on 4.0xx....

    I have not seen and do not see 4.1 astaro.  The latest version astaro has announced is 4.027.  I bet you have 5.1xx?

    I've an ISO file for 4.107. It is auto-updated to 4.108.
    I gas it is a BETA...

    I've imported my 4.108 config in a version 4.021 installation. This worked. A backup of a 4.021 I could import in a 5.204.
    And its working fine....
