I am having problems with CPU / memory usage. I have a server with dual 2.5 GHz processors (hyperthreading disabled yesterday) and 2 Gig of RAM. ASL was running fine under a light load. We put it in production by using it for SPAM filtering for a large group of email accounts and content filtering for a few subnets. It was running fine for about 3 weeks, but now it locks up and we have to reboot it every 8-10 hours. The CPU utilization after reboot will be low, but it will grow over the next 8-10 hours until it hits about 9.5. When it hits about 9.5, it will continue to pass traffic but will not content filter for the selected subnets and it stops charting the CPU utilization. At the high CPU utilization level, we cannot login to the web interface or locally to the machine. We have recently changed the MX record to stop the SPAM filtering, but the problem continues. I'm looking for suggestions. - Ken
