Hi,

i tried to install ASL 6 on am celeron 633, 40 GB hdd, 512 MB. Before on this mashine was AS L5

the installation process works fine but after the reboot i only get massage 02 02 02 02 02 02 02 02 02 02 with never ending.

What is the Problem??? [:S]

check in the bios your hdd settings, you must use "normal mode" instead "large" or "lba".

it was auto.

Now i changed to normal but the problem is the same again...

Any other tips?

Hi,

guess you have to reinstall. This is typical Linux error when the boot-loader (lilo) failed to locate the entry point.

Change the mode to whatever you like, try every setting. You have to reinstall after every modification you make. For me, setting large did the trick.
