[6.01] Install fails

ok, I just tried to upgrade my Astaro 5.203 box to version 6.01. (this box has been running v5 since 5.00 just fine)
I saved the config, booted up 6.01 and it installed just fine. BUT after the first reboot (the one after you take the CD out) I just get a whole bunch of "L 20 20 20..." (about half a screen worth and then it just hangs)
OK, booted from CD again, installed again.. same thing.
I burnt a fresh CD, installed again.. same thing.
Changed out the CD drive AND the HardDrive, reinstalled.. "L 20 20 20's again"
I'm just downloading 5.202 now to see if that works or not.. anybody have any ideas what elase I could/should try?

Try changing the BIOS IDE mode between LBA/LARGE/Normal

Normally you should set the bios IDE mode to "Normal". Then lilo should be able to find the right entry point.
Are you using a RAID?

FWIW, in the past I've seen some Intel PIII motherboards that only worked in 'Large' mode, not LBA or Normal.

I usually try all of the modes when something like this happens.
