[6.01] Install fails

ok, I just tried to upgrade my Astaro 5.203 box to version 6.01. (this box has been running v5 since 5.00 just fine)
I saved the config, booted up 6.01 and it installed just fine. BUT after the first reboot (the one after you take the CD out) I just get a whole bunch of "L 20 20 20..." (about half a screen worth and then it just hangs)
OK, booted from CD again, installed again.. same thing.
I burnt a fresh CD, installed again.. same thing.
Changed out the CD drive AND the HardDrive, reinstalled.. "L 20 20 20's again"
I'm just downloading 5.202 now to see if that works or not.. anybody have any ideas what elase I could/should try?

    Funny, I was just going to post the same thing!

    I also installed V6.001, rebooted and get one "L" and lots of "20"s.
    I installed V6 on a standard-PC with one IDE disk. Is there a way to manually reinstall LILO?

    Hi,

    seams that LILO (Boot Loader) cant find the entry point. Thats a common error if the boot-sector is not written properly.
    Can have multiple reasons. But because Astaro uses the Suse as Core, I guess its a installer Bug. Had the same trouble with Suse Installer, not removing the old LILO entrys in the Boot-Sector.

    I hope so.. I was starting to rip my hair out.. and I replaced both the HD and the CD drive as well.. no luck. Going back to v5 later today
