DynDNS no updating

I'm running DynDNS and due to a castastrophic failire of Astaro last night, my ip address has changed between the time of the failure and the time I rebooted astaro this morning. 

The ASL DynDNS feature is supposed to notice the changes in ip addresses and change the address on the DynDNS site.

This is not happening.  Nohting is happening.
When I go to the DynDNS site, it informs me that my 'apparent' ip address has changed and allows me to click a single button to register the new address with my dns name.

Does anyone know why automatic dyndns update would not be working properly?

    Hi,

    I think heres your trouble:

    2005:06:20-22:51:15 (none) /usr/bin/ez-ipupdate[1677]: malformed cache file: /opt/tmpfs/ez-ipupdate.cache

    guess there is some corrupt data in the file. It schould work if you open the file with vi and remove the line, should only be one line (but no guarantee for that). After that, deactivate and activate the dyndns, it schould generate a new cache file, in theory. Sorry for theoretical answer,  but never tried that.
