ATARaid - Specifically Adaptec ATA 1200A

Can anyone confirm whether either ASL 5.2 or ASL 5.8 (6.0 Beta) support ATARaid cards?

I am looking at purchasing a DELL PowerEdge 350 which has an Adaptec ATA 1200A onboard.  I believe this is based on the HighPoint HPT370 chipset.

Ideally I would just try booting off an ASL CD first to see if it picks up the hardware, but I don't have access to the machines.
