I just setup Astaro 5.202 on a new box (Dell Optiplex) and the hard drive light is on constantly. It doesn't seem to be grinding at all. Anyone see this before?
If the HD LED is on all the time with no actual drive activity, that sounds like a HW issue - the LED may be hooked up wrong. It would be worth checking with Dell. There are a lot of ways to get odd behavior out of a HD LED, so it's hard to guess without knowing more about the box.
