ISDN Card possible?

I'm looking for a way to connect to the internet when my cable provider is down. So i inserted an isdn card in my ASTARO computer. But it seems that ASTARO didn't recognize the card.

Is it possible to use such a card, do I maybe need an additional driver?

no, it's not possible. use a isdn router for such things.

or an ISDN terminal adaptor and configure uplink failover.

What do you mean with ISDN terminal adaptor? I searched for this with google and found many USB ISDN adaptors. Would these USB adaptors work in ASL? I saw that ASL reconigzes my serial ports and that it is possible to attach a modem to these. If USB is not supportet, would it be possible to attach a serial ISDN modem?

by definition a terminal adaptor could even be a isdn-card. but it's possible in v5 to attach an external isdn adaptor to the serial interface (rs232) and configure the dial up information and also failover.
