Why would AntiVirus Up2Date not install updates?

Hi all,

Does anyone know of any reason why Up2Date should download AntiVirus updates, but not install them?

My "Update Automatically" is enabled, but it's not working.  Updates are downloaded, but not installed.

This only started happening about 3 or 4 weeks ago.

Any good ideas?
