Can´t connect to Webadmin or ping.Please help

Hi,

i´m new to Astaro and just installed the 5.200 on a AMD 750 / 394 MB RAM / 2 NICS with "classic" installation.
The system recognises all Components correctly.I have set the IP to 192.168.2.1 in the  setup and no gateway, because i want to use ADSL.

After the reboot of the Astaro machine i switched to my windows pc and changed the IP to 192.168.2.2 and set the subnetmask to 255.255.255.0 and the default gateway to 192.168.2.1 and the primary DNS-Server also to 192.168.2.1

then i tried to ping the machine from a Dos box but without success. Webadmin could also not be reached.

Does anyone know this problem or a solution what i can do?
Help would be fine.Thanks.

    O.k., solved the Problem.The HDD was not primary master.

    But now i still have the problem that i can´t connect to the webadmin.If i start to ping the firewall from a dos box in my windows it works very fine!

    I put the 192.168.2.1 in the proxy list of IE6 and put it on the list of exeptions.But it didn´t work, i still can´t connect to the Webadmin.

    Any ideas?Thanks for the quick answer!

     It seems that exceptions do not work correctly in IE. When you need to access Webadmin, go  on advanced proxy settings and disable the proxy usage for secure (HTTPS) connections...
