content and function of two files seen with putty

i have one question:

has the file

var/chroot-pptp/etc/ppp/options-defauit

the same functions like the file

var/chroot-pptp/etc/ppp/options ?

i changed two settings for the pptp connections i found here in the forum. i changed the lcp-echo-failure and the lcp-echo-interval.

    Astaro mostly uses '-default' config files as template for the running config of some processes. In theory you could add own values to the default files and restart the according application in order to activate new settings. In case of ppp options the default file isn't used as far as I know.

    Please be careful with any manual changes to the Astaro systems and be sure to have read the license agreement carefully - you may loose product support and warranty!
