Currently running V 5.2. Last week had problem such as content could not be loaded, and no mails after update to 5.200,found on the forum problem was not in 5.200 but because of virus scanner could not be updated and was rolled back to old pattern(rolled back to first installation not to previous) I dont know is this similar issue of V4 (this is related to a broken file in /usr/lib/kavdaemon.) for virus update failure caused by kaspersky servers.
but reinstallation worked fine with new ISO and every thing worked perfectly untill today, similar problem occured had to reinstall and restore backup,
Observations:
This problem occurs when a virus update is failed, i have hourly automatic update enabled.
Happened last week after resuming from week end, similar today.
STF have similar issue and workaround for V4 only, can somebody please provide similar workaround for V5 if its the same case.
Also tried to delete the bases but in vain . Please help.
