Astaro v5.10x crashing regularly after reinstall

We reinstalled our Astaro two weeks ago after adding a processor, to make him SMP. The server had been installed in 5.0xx version previously, and upgraded all the way to 5.102.

We imported our configuration without error. But the firewall crashed 3 times since the reinstall, on 2 different hardware computers.
When it crashes, we can't ping it at all ; we can't even log in locally, we have to power it off. After rebooting, it works normally again.

Looking at the logs, we don't find a lot of informations, except those errors in system.log, at the time of crash :
2005:02:25-03:32:28 (none) syslog-ng[238]: Error accepting AF_UNIX connection, opened connections: 100, max: 100

We really need help here, the Astaro Partner isn't answering and the firewall is our central network point 

HW configuration as follows :
- Dell Precision 450, 2 Xeon 2.4 GHz, 2 GB RAM
- 2 HD in hardware RAID1
- 1 integrated GB network card
- 1 3Com 3c905x network card
- 1 DLink DFE-580TX quad network card

Software:
Astaro 5.103 Unlimited with SMTP VP 
(crashed once in 5.100, before we upgraded to 5.103)

    Try disabling HT in the bios.

    thx for your replies ; we don't use H323 or somesuch

    the firewall crashed again, around 5:30pm yesterday

    i'll try with HT disabled, lossing almost 2 processors in the process  [:(]

    i also did the following :
    - change the name to something else then back
    - reinstalled the licence
    - reinstalled a backup
    so that should be a new configuration now ...

    i'll keep you posted

    HT is not a true SMP..so you really aren't loosing that much if anything at all.  I am thinking you have a hardware issue of some kind.  Do you have another machine to try?  Also check the system logs, self-monitor logs and daemon logs.

    For the full trouble shooting try physiclay removing one of the cpus and use the single cpu kernel(leave ht off) and see if the machine stabilizes.  If it does then try itwith only the other cpu.

    HT is not a true SMP..so you really aren't loosing that much if anything at all.  I am thinking you have a hardware issue of some kind.  Do you have another machine to try?  Also check the system logs, self-monitor logs and daemon logs.

    For the full trouble shooting try physiclay removing one of the cpus and use the single cpu kernel(leave ht off) and see if the machine stabilizes.  If it does then try itwith only the other cpu.

    the firewall crashed again after about 24 hours

    after restarting, i launched a content_manager.pl to see if the processors were bth working ; it has run for more than 9 minutes yet, and both processors seem to be working fine (idle is going as low as 2% and the firewall doesn't crash)

    we allready tried on another computer and it did the same - crash after some days ; the logs you mention don't giver any other messages than the one posted previously

    as all this began when we imported a backup, i'll reinstall the firewall completely and input the configuration manually :S
