We reinstalled our Astaro two weeks ago after adding a processor, to make him SMP. The server had been installed in 5.0xx version previously, and upgraded all the way to 5.102.
We imported our configuration without error. But the firewall crashed 3 times since the reinstall, on 2 different hardware computers.
When it crashes, we can't ping it at all ; we can't even log in locally, we have to power it off. After rebooting, it works normally again.
Looking at the logs, we don't find a lot of informations, except those errors in system.log, at the time of crash :
2005:02:25-03:32:28 (none) syslog-ng[238]: Error accepting AF_UNIX connection, opened connections: 100, max: 100
We really need help here, the Astaro Partner isn't answering and the firewall is our central network point
HW configuration as follows :
- Dell Precision 450, 2 Xeon 2.4 GHz, 2 GB RAM
- 2 HD in hardware RAID1
- 1 integrated GB network card
- 1 3Com 3c905x network card
- 1 DLink DFE-580TX quad network card
Software:
Astaro 5.103 Unlimited with SMTP VP
(crashed once in 5.100, before we upgraded to 5.103)
