I've just tested the HP DL145 with ASL 5.100 SMP with the 2 onboard NICs.
Ours has dual 1.6GHz Opterons, 40GB ATA HD, and 1GB RAM.
Seems to work... couple of issues:
Astaro gets the NICs backwards... #2 is eth0, #1 is eth1.
Win2003 gets them correct on the same system.
The DVD drives HP uses do not work well in this system (they get smashed by the frame of the server). I had to use an external drive.
I don't have a 3rd nic in this system yet, so I don't know if the HP PCI-X nics are supported.
HP won't sell this with anything other than a 40GB drive in the first bay, but you can get an 80GB in the second.
ASL refuses to install if you have more than one drive though, and adding/removing drives to this server is a huge PITA.
