Install hangs at boot after "IP:" with 5.0/5.1

Hi folks, this is my first try to set up Astaro so I hope you got an idea to my Problem:

Wehen I start the setup, the kernel boots up fine up to the line "IP" after IP nothing follows and the system is completely frozen. 

Tried smp, classic an standard, 5.0 and 5.1..all the same.

The system is a compaq Proliant 1600 with a CPQ SmartArray SCSI RAID and 2 P2-450, 380 MB RAM

It usually has no problems (no Hardwarefailures and my Gentoo works like a charm as well...)

Any idea is appreciated [:)]

    the problem is probably related to your disk controller, when installation hangs switch to the second (or third) console to see if i am right. Astaro maintains a hardware compatibility list, search the knowledge base -> www.astaro.com/kb

    I already tried switching the console but the system is absolutely frozen, it does not react on anything anymore, thanks for the compatibility list though, I'll read it if there are any problems [:)]

    Basicly my System is not on the list. 2 parts are probably on the list: The NIC and the SCSI controller (though they do not match exactly my revision), I deactivated both to be sure but the problem persists: The boot freezes when trying to show the IP protocols line.
