webadmin issue

try rebooting your asl box first...also do you have the http proxy on? If so,  what mode?  If you have it in normal mode then the http proxy and the webadmin are conflicting. Iif that is the case you will have to edit the files manually from the console..Others here should know the file you will have to edit..i do not know that one.

i didnt reboot it, so i will try that.  I also never turned on proxy, unless it is on by default.  I will let you know if the reboot helps. Thx

ok, I finally got a chance to reboot it, no go still.  So, fellas, what file do i need to edit, and how do i do it?

Ok, nevermind, I found the config file and set it back to 443 manually, now its good.

which file was it?

It was under /etc/wfe/conf/ directory, file called settings. I used vi (GAG!!!) to change it.  Is there a better editor on this release that i cdan use if need be? Anyone know?

joe is also available for those of us who hate vi.
(uses wordstar commands. CTRL-KH for a menu)
