Update 5.100 fails?!

by installing the update 5.100 via System Up2Date Service, everything works fine and the Update log windows writes:

but after restarting asl the version is still 5.027... any ideas?

there are no details in "Reporting" or "Local Logs"...

Has the up2date completely downloaded?

What size hard disk do you have?

i hope so. isnt there a kind of checksum test before installation...

~ 20GB

...how can i dispose the downloaded update, in order to download it again?

Go to /var/up2date where you will find some files (since I have no update packages waiting I can´t tell you the name right now :-) that indicate the up2date package 5.1.
After deleting the file and starting again the "fecth up2date" process it will download it again.

ok, i disposed the files and the dir named "5.100"

after uploading the update manually, nothing changes... same behaviour.

i found 2 files (log.err and log.out) in the up2date folder. maybe someone call tell me what's going wrong here...

(i attached these files in one file)

it seems that asl has got an integrated problem "solver"....

after last-ditch attempt installing update 5.100. now asl dont let me access via webadmin. im receiving "Error 403 / Forbidden" by requesting index.fpl... so i think i have to reinstall asl 5.100.

for this reason the update problem is "solved".
