I am trying to install Astaro v5.100 on a new PC. If I use the default or classic kernels, the computer reboots spontaneously while the install starts from the CD.
If I use the SMP kernel (even with the noapic acpi=off options) , then the install starts, but then when it reaches the point of "Formatting Storage Partition" it dies with the error:

Memory: 1Gb Kingston HyperX

onboard Intel NIC
2 x 3com 3C509B NICs
Seagate 40Gb ATA-100 hard drive
