Hardware/Software Performance

Hello,

I am only a bad english speaking Net-Admin   , who has a Astaro firewall to manage. I did not touch her since she was installed. But now I have a problem. In one segment we have the Internet connectivity in an other we have a CAPI server for the remote access. Since a few weeks we loose the connection between the Capi Client and the Capi Server at about 3 times a day. When I put the Capi server in the local Network segment everything works fine. Now my question: could it be that the performance of the firewall is not fast enough? The hardware  is an Intel PII (we got it as black box). 

Or am I mistaken and there are Parameters or Updates or..... [:S]

Are there any ideas? They must not be true

    Sounds like you have some kind of access to the box? If nothing has been altered, the software shouldn't be a problem. In addition, I can hardly imagine such a boost in the net usage that could cause the problem. Therefor, it could be simply a broken net card or something. However, without further details (ASL version info etc) it is very difficult for anyone to say more.
