Hi all,
just a short question :
is it possible to disable the beeping after start or shutdown of the ASL ?

    The beeps come from /etc/init.d/beeps

    look for
            echo -n -e "\007" 2>/dev/null
    and comment out that line with #

    Note Astaro won't support your system if you modify it, and it's possible UP2Date will get an error if it needs to modify that file.

    Or, disconnect your PC speaker.
