v5 on a Pyramid Appliance: LCD-Ticker doesn't work

We run a Pyramid Appliance and had previously installed v4. In the Web-Interface there was a section (in System/Settings if I remember right) where one could enable the factory installed LCD. And it functioned very well.
Now when installing v5 there ins't any option to enable the LCD. Also the previous "workaround with /etc/ticker-conf.default" is not an option, because there isn't such a file...?
Some posts here say there isn't any support for the ticker module at all?
Does it mean the Pyramid LCD isn't supported too?

    I believe the LCD is not supported in ASL5.

    I have gotten LCD4Linux working on ASL, search the forums for it.

    I don't know if LCD4Linux supports the Pyramid LCD or not, but if it does, try it!
