DELL PowerEdge 750

Has anyone tried installing ASL on a Dell PowerEdge 750?
They are on offer from dell and I would like to use one or is it not worth the risk?

    I think the issue is not about it being SATA vs ATA. The problem is that there are no drivers for the SATA RAID controllers (It wont detect them in my machine unless i move the drives to the motherboard SATA controller)
