Half / Full Duplex

Have any of the members the answer for the Question how to set the Settings for Half/Full Duplex Mode of the NICs
in the Astaro Webadmin ?
Or otherwise for me as a Linux-newbie how to make it in the SSH-Shell ?

    The 3Com, Intel and RealTek Ethernet cards that I have used with Astaro have all automatically gone to full duplex whenever they were connected to an Ethernet switch. In my experience, manual settings for the NIC duplex function have never been required.

    You should also check the switch that you are using to see that it's not defaulting back to a 'lesser' mode.  Check all cables as well and if all else fails, directly connect a PC (that has a 10/100 card) to the Astaro and see if the interface drops to half duplex.  This may tell you if the switch is causing the problem.    [;)]

    Thanks a lot, but i found the resolution in editing the modules.conf...
    found the options for the e100 and the via-rhine...
    problem is solved...

    Given your earlier posts on this subject perhaps it would have been nice if you had posted your resolution so that you could contribute in a postive way just how you would have like to have been helped yourself
