Geode CPUs

Anyone tried running ASL on a Geode based appliance ?

I know the CPU is a bit slow, but just wondering... it's a lot cheaper than a VIA Mini-ITX w/ multiplie NICS and uses less power as well.

DOH! That one doesn't have IDE.
I've seen others that do though, for more money.

yup runs on geode systems (with an hard drive)
but quite sloooooooooooooooow [:P]

i think your better of buying a via epia 800 or sth for about 80 euro.
3.5" hard drives are cheaper normal mem is cheaper etc....

OK, thanks...

Most of the epia's I've seen only have one NIC and no PCI slot, but I've found some for about $300-400 with 3-4 nics, but they still only take a 2.5" HD.

If you know of a cheaper VIA with 3 nics, let me know.
