Pattern Up2Date subscription expired

When I setup the box, I installed a trial license. for some reason, I also enabled the pattern updtodate service (silly: I'm not using AV nor content filtering). Anyway, once I installed the production license, I started getting flooded by "Pattern Up2Date subscription expired" messages. One per hour exactly.

And since the subscription HAS expired, the web interface doesn't allow me to turn it off. Also, there is no way to SSH on that machine so I can't go in and disable the toggle manually. Help ?

    think the up2date information is stored in /etc/wfe/conf/up2datedata (or something like this). If the version 5 config file is still ini-like you simply could turn pattern up2date to zero.
