When our Firewall becomes the Ultimate SpamMachine

Hello everyone,

my Astaro is a little crazy sometimes...
This means she is downloading Up2Dates and right after this, she starts sending out the following mail, to all Admins in the Maillist. The Problem, she does this every minute per Address once - which makes almost 60'000 Mails for my Mailbox now  [:(]
--> Intresting addition, it does it not for all Up2Dates, only every 3th or 4th time this happens.

    Well this IS NEW and strange.... please post more information. What Processor, Mb of memory, num. of NICS, services turned on, etc. Maybe then we can help you out.

    Hi all,

    ok, its a original Pyramid 1HE Astaro, 5 Nics (only 2 Used public & private) (I beleive a 1.2GHz Celeron - utilization is usaly very low (10%)
    Volumes are "almost empty" (20-30% Usage)
    Memory is 256 MB
    Users - about 25 - 50 from pub Interface, 10 Servers from Private interface

    Question: could it be, that the systemLoad comes from the "mailspamming/looping" event?

    It only happens every 5th Autoupdate, but is still very anoying to delete my Mailbox after this.
