Our Firewall crashes approx. all two or three days with
the following error message:
[...]
ip_conntrack:
Kernel Panic Aiee, killing interrupt handle
in intrerrupt handler not syncing
[...]
This happens since we updated from ASL 4 to ASL 5,
ALS4 run rockstable for approx. a year.
I disabled all Connection tracking helpers in the Tab
(webAdmin)-> Packet Filter -> Advanced -> Connection
Tracking, so that none is selected, but ASL keeps
crashing. There is no automatism that reboots the firewall
after a kernel panic, so that it is possible that the firewall
crashes friday night and remains crashed till monday
morning.
Hardware:
DELL Poweredge 2650
2x Xeon 2,4GHz, 1GB Ram
2x 36GB as Raid 1 on PERC/3
controller, 2x Broadcom onboard
GBit NIC, 2x Intel 100MBit NIC
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

penzowski
