My firewall (Astaro 5.021) reports every day by email:
Code:
Pattern Up2Date failed: Pattern Up2Date subscription expired.
Stopping Pattern Up2Date.
The license is for home use. The license do not cover antivirus protection.
I think that there possibly exists two bugs:
1) Firewall tries to install Pattern Up2Date packages that are not covered by the license. This leads to useless notification.
2) Firewall tries to fetch Pattern Up2Date packages that are not covered by the license. This leads to useless installation attempt which leads in turn to useless notification.
'System' | 'Up2Date Service' -page has controls that regulate Up2Date -functionality. I would like to see 'delete' -action in the 'Latest Pattern Up2Date' -section in order to delete packages that do nothing under active licensing scheme.
The modification of the installation procedure combined with 'delete' -functionalty would make Up2Date -functionaly almost perfect.
