New Network Interface

Is there any way to add a new physical interface to a running ASL5 without reinstalling the entire system and saving/restoring the config?

I have added an additional 3COM-3c905 but the ASL couldn't see the card after the next start-up.

Please search the forums. (Make sure you specify a few months at least time-wise to search back). This has been answered many times. (Yes it's possible)

update your /etc/modules.conf file with the appropriate
module name for your 3com card.
then issue the command "modprode ethx" where x is the number of the card you've added to modules.conf, then use webmin to configure as required
